"What'll ya have, sweet pea?"
The short, somewhat thicker, waitress asked the seventeen year old blonde. The waitress swept her long, dark hair over her shoulders revealing her name tag labeled 'SUE', her pen poised and ready at her order pad. "Uhm, I think just the sampler, the one with chicken tenders, cheese sticks, and nachos?" The blonde asked, twisting a lock of hair between her fingers thoughtfully, "Can I have sweet tea, and ranch dressing, too, please?" The girl added as an after thought. The waitress, Sue, nodded, "Sure thing, I'll bring your drink out and your order will be ready soon, hun." And with that, Sue whisked herself away in a flash.
A small sigh came from Addison's lips, she wasn't exactly happy about sitting in the restaurant alone, but she was tired of school food and near to starving. The blonde pulled her phone from her pocket, a Samsung Epic, and slid it open to reveal the keyboard. No texts, no calls, no voicemails, not even a thing on Facebook. A frown pulled at the corners of her lips, she closed to phone and set it to her left away from the edge of the table and promptly let her forehead fall to the wooden surface with a soft thud. "Why is everyone so lame..." She thought aloud.
Not long after the waitress returned with her drink, "You waitin' on somebody?" Sue asked curiously, leaning over slightly to look at the girl. "No, not that I know of.." Addison replied solemnly, sitting upright and bringing her drink to her lips, "Thanks." She said with a smile before the waitress disappeared again. The girl couldn't quite believe that /nobody/ was doing anything, or trying to do anything on a Saturday afternoon. They surely couldn't be that busy, right? Though, she had realized her circle of friends had diminished slightly over the past couple weeks, people moving away, or simply just dropping out, who knew what excuses they had. Even the lion boy she had been eyeing seemed to disappear with the rest of them.
Addison's stone colored eyes gazed across the restaurant, absently taking sips of her sweet tea, desperately hoping to find a familiar face. Anyone. She didn't even care.
notes: open for anyoneeee <3 please. Addison needs new friends and stuff.

The blond haired girl walked into the little restaurant, and looked around. It wasn't as if she had many friends to really come here with. After all, the friends she did have didn't like being seen with her in public. Her light Grey eyes scanned across the slow moving restaurant, trying to find a familiar face. "I've got to know at least one person in here..." she muttered to herself. Spotting a seat near one of the windows, she quickly made her way over to it so that she wouldn't look like a lost puppy just standing around. Almost as soon as she sat, a nice shirt waitress appeared. Not even bothering to wait for the woman to ask, Atticus said "I'd just like a sweet tea." The waitress nodded and walked away.
Atticus's Grey eyes scanned over the restaurant once more, still not finding anyone who looked familiar. Sighing, she turned her head to look out the window. Of course she wouldn't have found anyone here. Who ever comes here on a Saturday to just hangout? She turned her head once she heard the waitress come back and say "Enjoy your drink." and sat down the tea. "Thank you," she said, trying to be polite. It wasn't that woman's fault that no one wanted to spend the day with her. She hadn't even bothered to bring her phone, since she knew no one would call or text.
Watching the waitress walk away, she noticed someones blond hair shimmer in the sunlight. "Well, It never hurt to try and make new friends, I suppose..." Her voice trailed off. Taking another sip of her tea, she got up and walked to the other girl. She looked as if she was seventeen, maybe eighteen. She sat her tea down across from the girl and said, "Hello, you looked lonely so I hope you don't mind If I join you. My name is Atticus Rouch, but you can call me Scout or Atty." She looked at the other girls stone Grey eyes, and waited for a response. If she'd even get one.

Addison was nearly ready to give up on looking for someone when tiny pale figure with blinding blonde hair appeared at the table across from her as if she were an apparition. The Junior had to ask herself, 'Did I just die?' A small laughed escaped her lips as the other girl introduced herself. "Atticus? Crazy name, Scout works. I'm Addison, or Addy, or Cougar, or bitch. Ha your choice." Addison put on a satisfied smirk as she eyed the smaller blonde. She couldn't be much older than sixteen if that, and she wondered if she'd seen the girl around school, but wasn't quite sure. The Junior wasn't much of a go-getting when it came to finding friends, they usually found her. Just as this girl did, to Addison's surprise.
"Do you go to school here?" Was the first real question out of the darker blonde's lips. She had to know, just to know how much could be discussed in front of this girl, considering Addison wasn't the normal teenager. The girl slowly stirred her sweet tea, noting the other girl had ordered the same drink. Before Atticus could respond to Addison's question the waitress returned to the table, "Well gee, I didn't know y'all knew each other. Ain't that lucky?" Sue the server chuckled lightly, placing the large plate with the sampler platter in between the two girls. "Did ya wanna make an order hunny?" She asked, referring to the younger of the two girls.
"You can add whatever she orders to my bill as long as she ain't spending twenty bucks!" Addison wasn't usually that generous, but she figured it'd be the best way to thank the younger girl for saving her from herself and the boredom that was ruining her saturday.
