ASIA NICOLE SEDGEWICKJoker on jack, match on a fire Cold on ice, a dead man's touch Whisper on a scream doesn't change a thing
NICKNAMES: Nope GENDER: Female ANIMAL: African Wild Dog SEXUALITY: Heterosexual AGE: 17 GRADE: 11th OCCUPATION: Student SCHEDULE:
TELL ME A LITTLE ABOUT YOURSELF.
As far as first impressions go, Asia is generally in a good mood. Sometimes it seems like she can brush off anything. Petty insults don't get her down. She's calm; you don't hear her shouting or see her jumping up and down. She's responsible and focused when it's important, but she likes nothing more than relaxing and having nothing to weigh her down. She takes school seriously and aims for good grades, but it's not her life, you know? She'd rather plow through her homework as fast as possible and go do something fun. Asia loves staying up late, preferably past midnight. This gets hard during the school year and she'll revert to a normal schedule, but on weekends she pretty much stays up all night and sleeps all day. Bouncing back from that every Monday will leave her a little more irritable, but it's self-inflicted so she tries to keep it in check. One of her passions is running. She believes that all of her problems can be solved by running. Even if she wasn't in track, she'd run every single day. She also come across as a self-assured person. She's comfortable with herself and feels that people need to just chill out about appearances. People love you for what makes you unique, not what makes you the same as everyone else.
TELL ME MORE, PLEASE? WHAT ARE YOU LIKE?
Asia is a team player. She loves being part of a group, working toward a common goal. She isn't competitive, but she excels in team sports because of a strong desire to help her team. This quality extends to other parts of her life as well. She works well with others in general. Asia enjoys authority, but she doesn't crave it or flaunt it. She likes it because it suggests trust and reliability. There's no doubt that Asia lives for her friends. She will do anything she can for the people she cares about, even if it means dishing out some tough love. She's extremely open-minded and non-judgemental. She sees the world in shades of gray, rather than black and white, right and wrong.
Asia is generally reserved with her more passionate emotions. She doesn't shout or flail when she's angry, but condenses her anger into a dangerous little grenade. If she really can't shake it, violence is her immediate outlet. One thing she will not stand for is a friend being harassed. While she'll let personal jabs and taunts roll of like water on a duck's back, anything done to harm a friend will tip her over the edge.
She has a solid block of self-esteem and confidence. However, once she is out of her element and thrown into an unfamiliar situation she becomes uncomfortable and withdrawn as she tries to process everything. She is initially distrusting of new places and people, but you'd never know she was on her guard. She does warm up very quickly, though. Something people don't notice about her is that she is extremely private. She'll listen patiently as people pour out their deepest secrets, but she won't reveal anything about herself. She can discuss anything for any length of time, but there are some subjects she will not touch on. She doesn't talk about her family, her childhood, her home, nothing. She doesn't like to show any vulnerabilities or talk about her own problems. Because of this, she can come across as a little cocky, but really, she would just rather deal with everything herself.
Asia's an athlete through and through. She loves to run, both long distance and sprints. She uses exercise to deal with anger and stress. After running herself ragged, whatever was bothering her before seems to have dissolved. If it's a hefty amount of stress that she's dealing with, then this obviously won't work. Because running it off is her only outlet, she doesn't know how to handle it in any other way and will become volatile. She won't reach out for help, but until she reaches some kind of catharsis she will slowly deteriorate.
THAT’S INTERESTING. CAN YOU TELL ME A SECRET? I PROMISE NOT TO TELL.
Asia hates it when people are angry and/or upset with her. She tries her best to stay on people's good sides, but if she feels like she has failed someone it will kill her inside.
OOC
YOUR NAME: Seven YOUR GENDER: Female RP EXAMPLE: Wes lumbered along the coastline, ostensibly looking for food. The beach was a ridiculous place to begin, though. He did much better with furry forest creatures than fish and crabs. In truth, he had been decidedly unsuccessful at catching anything to eat on the beach. But Wesley had a love-hate relationship with this stretch of sand. This was the same body of water that had hauled him away from the familiar and dumped him on a barren island. He could even see the same current that had carried him past the island, a different shade of blue against the darker expanse around it. At the same time, it was a glorious sight. The sun and vibrant blue sky caused the calm ocean waters to glare back with added intensity, as if each was in a competition to literally out-shine the other. As Wes looked over the vista, he had to admit that the glistening waters beat out the sky in this contest.
The Ovcharka mix took care to keep his paws away from the lapping waves. He trotted along, relishing the steady sound that muffled his own footfalls. He had traveled a mile or so down the beach and felt that he should turn inland soon. He wasn't viciously hungry, though, so he found himself putting off the moment. Finally fed up with himself, Wes halted. He turned to look back down the beach at the long, single line of paw prints, then straight ahead at the breathtaking scene. He was a no-nonsense dog, but that didn't mean he didn't appreciate beauty.
Sometimes he wanted nothing more than to return to his old life. Not because it was particularly pleasant. Mangling strangers in a dark, drug-filled warehouse isn't exactly Cloud Nine. It was a job though, and it had given him a distinct sense of purpose. Here on this island he didn't have to answer to anyone, but at the same time he didn't have a job. There was no denying it. Wesley was a working. His ancestors had been selected for years for their unfailing work ethic. Here, he felt like his considerable knowledge and capabilities were being sorely wasted. What were his days filled with now? Surviving? For a dog who had once been the fearless attack dog of a top Russian drug cartel, this was something of a step down.
