JENNIFER ROSE MCMAHONthough i don't understand the meaning of love, i do not mind if i die trying.
NICKNAMES: Jen, Jenny. GENDER: Female. ANIMAL:Lioness SEXUALITY: Mostly straight, bi-curious. AGE: Seventeen. GRADE: Junior. OCCUPATION: N/A (student). SCHEDULE:
TELL ME A LITTLE ABOUT YOURSELF.
Just a few of the main things I like/dislike. Likes:
- Being outdoors: I'd rather be outside enjoying the fresh air than cooped up indoors watching some foreign soap.
- Writing: Anything really. Short stories, poems, songs, whatever comes to mind.
- Reading: Give me a good book, and I'm there. I especially like mystery novels. I love the suspense.
- Music: I've got a wide variety of music on my iPod, and carry it with me everywhere I go. Good music keeps me sane.
Dislikes:
- Drugs and Alcohol: Yeah, drugs and alcohol - not the biggest fan. I won't judge you if you're shooting yourself up every Wednesday night, or hide bottles of beer underneath your bed, but don't ask me to come around when you attempt to ruin your life.
- Judgmental people: I really don't understand why all people can't be open-minded. It makes me angry when people judge others. Why can't we all just stick to that cliche? "Don't judge a book by its cover." Hmm?
- Math/Science: I'm not very good with numbers. Not very good at all.
TELL ME MORE, PLEASE? WHAT ARE YOU LIKE?
Well, first of all, I'm very independent. Not in the way that I like to be alone. Just in the way where I like doing tasks myself. I've been that way since I was little girl. I absolutely refuse help if offered. It's just the way I am, and, really, I hope it doesn't make me come off as rude. Uh, let's see, I'm not very good at these, uhm... I'm very friendly and open once you get to know me. And trust me, it's not that hard as I do enjoy making friends, and can be quite outgoing a lot of the time. And once I'm your friend, I'm your friend for life. I'm very protective of my friends and family, and would do absolutely anything for them. I also like helping others, and would do anything for a friend (or even a stranger) that needs a little help. I've been told that I have somewhat of a bad temper when provoked, and things definitely can get ugly fast. I guess that has to do with uh, some things. I'm trying to work on controlling it, and it's coming along nicely. I'm very passionate about things and I'm never afraid to voice my opinion. I'd say it's not very wise to get into a debate with me. Odds are, you're going to lose. And lose bad. Hmm, what else? Well, when it comes to the subject of love, I consider myself a hopeless romantic. As cheesy as it sounds, and I hate sounding cheesy, I believe in fairy tale endings, and I hope that I'll have one someday. Wow. Did I just sound like the Queen of Cheese, or what? Excuse me, I have to go wash my mouth out with soap or something now.
THAT’S INTERESTING. CAN YOU TELL ME A SECRET? I PROMISE NOT TO TELL.
A secret or two? Or three? If you insist.
- Alright, well, I'm bi-polar. Not a lot of people know. Just my family. I'm kind of ashamed of it.
- Sometimes I shift in my sleep. It depends on what I'm dreaming about.
- I like boys, yes. But I think I may be interested in girls too.
OOC:
YOUR NAME: Call me Buffy (: YOUR GENDER: Female. OTHER CHARACTERS: FACE CLAIM: Emma Stone. RP EXAMPLE:
As a bird chirped outside Layla's window and the sun illuminated the small room, the teenager blinked a few times to get her vision. As her room became clear, she raised her arms above her head and gave one big stretch. But not even a stretch could soothe the butterflies in the sixteen year old's stomach. In fact, nothing could. Because, for Layla, there was nothing more nerve wracking than school. Let alone the first day of school.
After lingering in her comfortable queen-sized bed for five minutes, Layla was up and making her way downstairs where she smelled the distinct smell of pancakes, bacon, and eggs. The breakfast of champions. Her stomach rumbled as she thought about gobbling up her breakfast. Surprisingly, no matter how nervous Layla was, her appetite for her mother's cooking hadn't faded.
When the "breakfast of champions" was finished, and Layla made herself as presentable as possible, it was time to face her peers. Maybe they wouldn't be that bad? Maybe they wouldn't make fun of the way she looked, or the way she dressed, or talked, or whatever they could find to pick at. Maybe they'd be different than the kids at her old school. Layla shuddered thinking about the kids at her old school. In the fifteen years she had been alive, she'd never met people more disgusting. The things they had said to her where just awful. And of course, the faculty didn't do shit about it.
"Well! We'll contact their parents!" Was what the guidance counselor, vice principal, and principal had all said.
Yeah, sure they did.
Finally, after ten months worth of torture, Layla had gotten out of there. Of course, the damage had already been done. But at least now she was gone from that horrible school. She was free.
