DAMIEN GREGORY HAWKINS :: BIO::
Yet another informal plot page. One of these days I will make it looks spiffy and organized. For now, just deal with it.
FRIENDS
Damien is a friendly, charming guy. He likes being on his own but doesn't mind company in the slightest. He is open with people and likes to share stories of his experiences. He doesn't like conflict and confrontation, so he won't be completely honest with people if he believes that will make the road smoother.
ENEMIES
He doesn't like the thought of having enemies. They make things difficult and uncomfortable. Thus, I can't see him having too many. He'll act and say what he needs to to stay on the good side of important people, even if he wholeheartedly hates them.
LOVERS
Damien has had issues with love in the past, so he doesn't get too close to people. He is careful to keep things superficial; charming and sweet, but always at arm's length.

AGREED Ian's been at this school for roughly 4 years, going on 5. Say they met at work and have been friends since? Or they knew each other before coming to the school and just ended up working at the same place? Not such a stretch, since open employment for shifters is most likely limited. Ian comes from the Northeast U.S. but he went to school and spent time in North Carolina. Also the Peace Corps. So, what do you think?

Methinks.. They started probably around the same time and go tot be friends that way, I don't seem them having many run-ins previously if at all, they probably did but never really knew it.

Okay, sounds good. Let's say they met, went out for drinks a few times, and the bromance commenced without either of them having much say in the matter.

You can be his therapist!
Imeanwut? Oliver really needs someone non-conflicting and not willing to fight... because everyone else seems to hate him. Teehee. That might be my fault, though... He might flirt a bit, and if he ever started to notice that it wasn't working he would probably just become friends with Damien... or just leave him alone.

Unlikely
But still potentially hilarious. Ian's at his quota for close friends that he also works with, but he wouldn't opposed to having another not-so-close friend. He would be SO disturbed by flirting though. He's more than a little homophobic. He would still try to maintain a peaceable relationship, because he has to work at the same place with Oliver, but he would probably try to avoid him because he was oh-so-creeped out. If Oliver toned it down it might settle into a nice co-worker relationship. Ian's too fiercely independent to be much affected by Oliver's more negative traits, I think...

If you're not annoying, you're amusing
Well, that's how Oliver sees it. As long as Damien doesn't blow up all over him, he's going to keep flirting. And flirting. And flirting some more. Peaceful homophobes are hilarious to him. Violent ones, not so much. But if Damien asked him to stop, he probably would... maybe...

Tolerance
is a quality Damien has surprisingly a lot of. He'd put up with Oliver without complaint for a long time, but eventually he'd ask him to back the fuck off. Politely. In the meantime he'd regard him as a strange associate and be perfectly civil if a little cool toward him. Damien, in general, is a friendly guy.

This is where the bars come in, right?
There's nothing more to say after that... If Damien ever got the slightest bit tipsy, I'm afraid that Oliver would get his way, somehow... But yeah, after the whole back the fuck off thing, Oliver would leave alcohol-free Damien alone. Just... while trying to tempt him into getting drunk.
