Hmm, I’m not very good at these things, but I’ll give it a shot. I guess I’ll start by saying that I’m a little bit of a control-freak. I mean, not a major control freak, but it makes me feel uneasy when any situation is out of my control. I'm not the most patient person ever. I cannot stand waiting in line, in traffic, or for an appointment. Waiting drives me nuts. I’m a pretty honest person. I say what’s on my mind, and I try not to sugarcoat things. I think it’s better for people to hear the truth than to be blinded by a lie. Although, I think sometimes that honesty can come off as being a little rude, and may hurt people's feelings. Well, they say the truth hurts. I love to laugh, and I love it when someone has a great sense of humor. The thing I love the most, though, is my kids. I love being in the classroom and interacting with my students.
It’s not in my nature to blow up at small things or problems. Usually, in the face of a problem, I usually try to keep a level head. I know it sounds really “teacher-ish”, but I believe in respect. If you respect me, I’ll respect you, and we’ll be good. I'm really picky, and will spend hours on a student's paper nit-picking at the smallest things. Which yeah, it can be annoying, but hey, I'm a teacher. It's my job. You could say that I'm a little bit weary of men. Not that I wouldn't love to have someone in my life, I would, but I'm just a little afraid to get into another serious relationship.THAT’S INTERESTING. CAN YOU TELL ME A SECRET? When I was eighteen, my high school sweetheart, Collin, got me pregnant. He ran away, and in the end, I gave birth to a stillborn baby girl. I try not to think about it.
