Takuya was very much a man of habit. He ran the same 6 mile course very day at the same time. It took just a hour and thirty minutes for him to run it. He knew his pathway back and forward, and could run through it in any direction he wanted. There where also several people, and a ghost or two, that he knew where they would be when he was coming around to their house or business But for this man of habit. In the middle of a park he went through, there was a man that sat under a blossom tree meditating. Taku knew he was a ghost, but his devotion that kept the man there was impressive to the boy. But on this day the man was missing, and Takuya wanted to know why.
Breaking from his habit on this day, he ran down to the tree, looking for any sign of the ghost-man that use to sit there. The only thing sign of anything every being there was a small splash of blood that was sitting at the base of the tree. That was when he heard the a blood wrenching scream. Looking up, Taku saw what could only be described as a demon. It had six legs that where segmented, and a two piece body standing almost 15 feet tall. One end had a face that had a mask with teeth like an oni's, the other has brown and hairy, with a giant rat tail that had a giant club on the end.
There where people that walked between its legs, and since they weren't screaming and the creature did not seem to care either. But when it noticed Taku staring, it seemed to have a smile. It gave another blood curling scream that sent the teenager running for his life. He was slamming his feet as hard and fast as he could, trying to save his own life.
