TELL ME A LITTLE ABOUT YOURSELF.

I like boys. It's not common knowledge, because not everyone has to know, but yeah. My mom knows, I told her last year, and my brother knows, I think he's always known. I don't talk about my sexuality in school, I won't deny if anyone asks but I don't offer up information.

I love music. It's my first love and it'll be my last, probably. I play drums and guitar, and I write and sing. I'm mostly self-taught, except for the drums, a friend of my moms taught me that. Apparently I needed some sort of let out that didn't drive her crazy.

Some other things I like are candy, I've got a huge sweet tooth, and cigarettes. I've been smoking since I was twelve, bad habit I know, but it helps calm me down when I'm stressed. I love sports too. Going for a run in the morning, being at the skate ramp, playing soccer, I love being active.

School is not really my thing, I'll have to admit. I have trouble focusing in class, even on good days. Last year was pretty tough when my mom got sick, but even now it's hard for me to pay attention. I try not to be disruptive though, but I'll be glad to graduate.

The thing I hate most about school is reading. Now I'm fine reading things for myself, and I kind of love creative writing, but when it's tough things .. it just makes my head all fuzzy, you know? I just can't absorb anything.

Gray is a nice kid, in essence. He's not the brightest crayon in the box, but he makes do in class, scraping by with grades that won't ever make him valedictorian, but will at least be good enough for him to graduate. His strengths lie in music and sports, it's always been that way. He can focus when it comes to learning to play the guitar and writing a new song, he won't be as easily distracted then as he would be in class. It's not for lack of trying though, he hates being viewed as that stupid annoying kid in class, so he keeps his mouth shut and tries not to get sent to detention too much.

As a friend, Graham is stubborn but loyal. He hates admitting he's wrong, but he's always got his friends backs. He has more acquaintances than true friends because he isn't a real talker and doesn't easily share his secrets, but once you've earned the title of his friend he'll move heaven and earth to keep you safe.

Graham can be immature, goofing off and being an idiot, but when it comes down to it, he's the kind of person that knows where the money is. He cares deeply for his family and would do anything to provide for them, even if it means working a mediocre job for the rest of his life. He has a habit of caring more for others than himself, though at first glance he'd come across as self-centered, since he's quite good at taking care of himself.

In a nutshell, Graham can be sarcastic and blunt, but he can also be a great friend, a good listener though he isn't the best at giving advice. He's a private person but enjoys hanging out with people and can be the life of the party, though don't expect to know everything about him. He is a romantic at heart but wouldn't know where to start and has an insecurity complex that keeps him from committing to someone - he wouldn't want to disappoint them.

It's not a secret here, obviously, but back home in London, nobody knows about his abilities. His life there has been tough. His family is dirt poor and his mother is blind and unable to work, so his older brother Arthur, his senior by ten years, has skipped out on art school to work a factory job to afford the apartment they stay in. Gray was in a gang there from an early age on, but he never hurt anyone, or so he says. His gang stole from the rich and tried to give to the poor, though that usually meant themselves, since they were all ghetto kids in London. He's free from that life now, at least as long as he's at this school.

When his mum first fell ill, in his first Sophomore year, Gray didn't have much of an outlet, and for a while he has cut himself. It's stopped now, and he stopped hiding the scars too, because although it's not something he's proud of, he doesn't feel like he has to be ashamed.

His other secret is that he's got somewhat of a crush on Kai Durant, and has for a long time now.
