Growing up with two fathers and three brothers, Valentina is surprisingly anything but a tomboy. She went full circle and immersed herself in everything pink and sparkly as a child, having the only princess-themed room in her home amidst the dirty sneakers and sports equipment laying around in messy boys' rooms. As she matured, she continued her obsession with femininity; never wanting to be associated with the masculine legacy her family held. However she strayed from barbies and fairy tales into the competitive world of ballet and drama. Currently ballet is her life's focus, turning the girl into a very graceful and petite dancer.

Valentina also has a liking towards boys, a liking that has not got her in very much trouble because of her somewhat shy attitude, but instead transformed her into the cliche, dreamy-eyed little freshman (she prefers freshwoman) who stares longingly at the senior boys.

Also like a cliche freshman female, Valentina has a slight obsession with popularity and always seeming "cool." She learned falsely from her dorky little brother and outlandish older brother that trying to survive high school as anything but one of the "popular" kids is murder. Therefore she tends to follow those she idolizes around and thinks she's fooling everyone.

From anybody's perspective, a petite, flat-chested girl always dressed in pastel colors and with a dancer's bag around a bony shoulder would be labeled sweet, delicate and timid. And on the outside, that is more or less how Valentina acts; pretending to be more mature than she really is, as well as showing off her gracefulness as natural-born femininity and charm. She holds her head up high with faux-confidence and makes sure that everything about her appearance is up to par, but never overdoes it.

However this is only an uncomfortable skin Valentina has yet to shed, for underneath she is just as tough as the brothers she has to live with, and can only keep her wild temper controlled for so long. She hasn't gotten close enough with too many people yet to really act herself, but upon observation most people looking would notice Val's impatience and slight bossiness when provoked or vulnerable. Most of how she behaves is an act, something that a girl only at the age of 15 acquired when thinking she had to act "cool" in high school.

From this she is very focused on how others see her, not only as the way she acts, but also on who she hangs out with, what she wears, and how she does in school. A hidden anxiety waits inside the troubled girl as she always frets over anything stupid she may say, or her terrible habit of getting flustered when she finally has the chance to talk to a cute boy. Both with her fake confidence in appearance and attitude, as well as her sometimes revealed bossy behavior, Val hides best her awful insecurities.

Despite the Bangles being his new family, Leone tended to seclude himself no matter what. He didn't stay in the Kennel any longer than he needed to, and when he didn't have clients, slept in his own dorm every night. After an exciting day of exploring with Eroe he retreated to the library (marmoset-free) in order to study.

The Alcove was always an intimidating place before he became a Bangle, he didn't want to get in the way of the faculty... though the silent peacefulness was always so tempting.

Now that he had full access, the boy ventured there quite often, bringing as many books as his scrawny arms could carry in order to keep him busy for hours. Right now half his stack was information about any type of research or project, while the other half contained thick pages with tiny font about English grammer and of course an Italian to English dictionary for correct spelling.

Leone kicked open the door with a foot, arms straight and turned down to support the bottom of his stack that ended right underneath his chin.

When he first caught sight of another in the room his eyes went wide, but the tenseness in his body slacked when he recognized Daeus. "Hi," he smiled up at him and dropped the books hard on the table. The boy didn't ask why the other was up here, the fact that the Alcove only belonged to the Bangles seemed unfair anyway.
